Bollywood loves biopics; be it Dangal, MS Dhoni: Untold Story, Mary Kom, Neerja, Azhar or Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, our filmmakers have succeeded in portraying the lives of personalities or to be precise the lives of sportspersons, on the silver screen. A few days back, we came to know that Harshvardhan Kapoor ha been roped in for a biopic on World and Olympics Champion, Abhinav Bindra. Now, Harshvardhan’s dad, Anil Kapoor has also bagged a role in the biopic. This marks the first outing of the father-son duo on the silver screen. Harshvardhan will play shooter Bindra on the silver screen.
Revealing that the veteran actor has joined him in the biopic, Harshvardhan took Instagram and shared a post. He captioned the picture as “Going to be sharing screen space for the first time with my dad in my next movie #Bindra. I’m happy to be working with my dad, but also nervous because of his stature as an actor #MixedBagOfEmotions I look forward to learning from him and also making memories. This movie just got a whole lot more special #LetsDoThis”
Harshvardhan, 26, made his debut in Bollywood with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya along with Sayami Kher. The action-romance movie was set in contemporary times and is inspired by the folk tale of Mirza and Sahiban.
