Here’s what Amitabh Bachchan has to say on Gurmehar Kaur’s Facebook post row

Amitabh Bachchan said, "What I feel about Gurmehar Kaur's FB post row is my personal view and if I will tell it to you, it will become public."

Gurmehar Kaur has been making headlines over the past few days. Prominent personalities, sportspersons, politicians, actors have been voicing their opinions regarding the same. This time, Bollywood’s superstar Amitabh Bachchan said, “What I feel about this is my personal view.”

During an event, Amitabh Bachchan was questioned about Ramjas violence and Gurmehar Kaur’s Facebook post row, to which he gave a balanced reply. Big B said, “What I feel about this is my personal view and if I will tell it to you, it will become public.”

The post by Kargil martyr’s daughter and Delhi University’s student Gurmehar Kaur went raging like a wildfire and created a massive stir. She changed her Facebook profile picture holding a placard which read, “I am a student from Delhi University. I am not afraid of ABVP. I am not alone. Every student of India is with me. #StudentsAgainstABVP”.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher also commented on Gurmehar FB post row. He said, “What she said is right. No one wants war. Soldiers are at borders to protect the country, not to take a bullet.”

He further added, “Some are taking political mileage out of it. Everyone knows who they are; they’re laughable. Fir dusre bhi apne mann ki baat kahenge.”
