Fans, who are eagerly waiting to watch Salman Khan’s much-awaited film Tubelight, have a reason to rejoice now as the makers have finally announced its release date. The film is all set to release in June. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film based on 1962 Sino-Indian War also features Shatrughan Sinha, late actor Om Puri and marks the Bollywood debut of Chinese actress Zhu Zhu.
Confirming the release date of the film, trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote: Gear up Salman Khan fans… #Tubelight release date finalised: 23 June 2017… Kabir Khan – Salman Khan back after #BajrangiBhaijaan.
This is not the first time when Kabir Khan is working with Salman. He has earlier collaborated with him for blockbusters like Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger. While Bajrangi Bhaijaan captured Salman’s sweet innocent looks in the film, it will be interesting to watch his look in his upcoming film.
As the film is scheduled to release in June this year, the makers haven’t yet announced the first look and trailer of Tubelight.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan, who shared screen space with Salman in films like Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam and others, will also be doing a cameo in Tubelight.

As of now, Salman is busy shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai which is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. It is a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger which was helmed by Kabir Khan.
