Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif was recently trolled on social media after a video of her participating in a Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations at Salman Khan’s on Thursday. While one would assume that any news of Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan being in the same room together would be received positively, this time around Katrina offended religious sentiments of Hindus.
In a video (now removed) shared by Salman’s elder brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, several celebrities were seen participating in the Ganesha aarti. However, when it was Katrina’s turn, she didn’t exactly do it right.

Like any individual from a religious Hindu family, who has had a good number of sanskars instilled in them, would know, aarti thaals are only supposed to move clockwise. In the video, however, Katrina did it anti-clockwise, and the Internet bore down on her brutally.

Some of the bollywood actors dont leave any chance to insult hindu religious sentiments, if you dont know how to do it, then learn it prior and its nothing rocket science, please dont hurt our religious sentiments @katrinakaif

Nothing amazing/ real about it as the commoner believes, its PR exercise just like the politicians do to keep their ‘dukandari’ rolling!!
Clearly visible, its mechanical & devoid of devotion; look at Katrina doing an ‘anti-clockwise’ aarti! #Bollytards— Meenakshi Sharan (@meenakshisharan) September 14, 2018
