Our desi girl Priyanka Chopra, who made a grand entry in a stunning golden gown at the recent Golden Globe Awards is now officially a part of Hollywood A-Listers. From Quantico to Baywatch, PeeCee has come a long way and is making India proud on a global platform.
Priyanka will soon be seen alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron in Baywatch and has taken Hollywood by storm. In a very short span of time, we not only saw her becoming the presenter at Oscar and Emmy but also being the first South Asian actress to win the People’s Choice Award.
In an interview with IANS, PeeCee revealed that what worked for her in Bollywood also works for her in Hollywood. She said:
I think the same thing that worked in Hindi films worked for me internationally. I am not afraid of being myself.

She further added:
I think entertainment industry is full of too many wonderful, beautiful people and you can’t (just) be someone else. You have to stand out. You have to find your own uniqueness and that has to work for you. So those who want to be an actress, whether it is in America or in India, you have to find who you are and be comfortable with it.

While she was highly praised for her performance in Quantico, Priyanka Chopra was also trolled for her blink and miss glimpse in the Baywatch trailer and it was compared with Deepika Padukone’s hefty appearance in xXx: Return of Xander Cage trailer.
