Imagining anyone else playing the role of Wolverine/Logan and not Hugh Jackman is a dreadful dream for all his fans. Sadly, for them, the upcoming film Logan is the last time he will essay the role of the X-Men mutant. However, him leaving the franchise doesn’t mean Hugh wouldn’t like anyone else in the role. While speaking to renowned film critic Rajeev Masand, Hugh Jackman said Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan could play the role.
During the interview, Rajeev asked Hugh if it would be difficult for him to see anyone else portray the role of Logan, and the actor answered in the negative. Hugh added though he has been associated with the series for over 17 years now, it wouldn’t be difficult for him.
Hugh said, “Maybe Shah Rukh Khan could play it.”
Coming from Hugh himself, this is definitely a huge compliment for Shah Rukh. The King Khan of Bollywood has not spoken anything on it, but we think he would on learning about it.
Shah Rukh’s fans would know that he is a complete geek when it comes to comics, superheroes, and games. So, it is obvious he would be elated on knowing Hugh Jackman thinks he is perfect for Logan.

The Marvel comics character Wolverine has animal-keen senses, enhanced physical capabilities, powerful regenerative ability known as a healing factor, and six retractable bone claws in his hands. The film Logan will chronicle his journey after his prime age and how he went on a final adventure. The film also features Dafne Keen as Laura Kinney, a young mutant whose powers are similar to that of Wolverine. The film released worldwide today.
