At the IIFA 2017 green carpet, internet sensations Abish Mathew and Mallika Dua welcomed the Bollywood celebs and entertained everyone

The green carpet of IIFA is equally important and this time the organizers have upped the fun quotient by bringing two of India’s best stand up comedians- Mallika Dua and Abish Mathew, to host it. For years now, the green carpet has been hosted by television stars, who do a decent enough job in making the interactions entertaining. But it won’t be wrong to assert that it comes seamlessly to Mallika and Abish to make it entertaining.

At the green carpet of the big event, Mallika Dua and Abish Mathew indulged in bickering and had no qualms about making fun of themselves. A little late to the event, Mallika and Absih, made up for it with their entertaining with their fillers. Mallika said she didn’t coordinate her fuschia saree with Abish, it just happened. Apart from being perfectly at ease at the big event, where they said they would be there for quite some time, these Internet sensations made the event extremely jovial.

It is particularly nice to see Abish and Mallika, host the green carpet of a grand event of Bollywood. It means Bollywood has started believing in breaking the barriers of media of entertainment and has now become inclusive.

In one of the conversations, Abish asked Mallika who judges what is ‘well dressed’. To this, the latter said it was about carrying a costume in a brilliant manner. Mallik did not leave her Delhi accent, which got her extremely famous, and we are not complaining. What we hope is that these two make celebs do some really cool stuff because now the expectations of entertainment from this green carpet has become really high.
