Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma share the screen space in their upcoming film Jab Harry Met Sejal. Till now, the makers of this Imtiaz Ali directorial have unveiled two songs Radha and Beech Beech Mein that have generated a lot of buzz around the film. Now, a fresh video of the song Safar has been released by SRK-owned Red Chillies Entertainment on its YouTube channel.
The roughly five-minute long video shows Shah Rukh Khan, director Imtiaz Ali, music composer Pritam Chakraborty and lyricist Irshad Kamil engrossed in a candid discussion. The 51-year-old actor gives his inputs on the lyrics of the song. When confronted by Pritam, Khan takes a funny jibe at the popular Love Mera Hit Hit song composed by him. Interestingly, the chartbuster was picturised on Shah Rukh and Deepika Padukone in Billu. After a brief brainstorming, they zero in on the word Safar and the song is complete.
What adds to the beauty of the song is the picturisation that speaks volumes about the unique promotional strategy devised to market the August 4 release. Jab Harry Met Sejal is the story of a Punjabi tourist guide Harry (Shah Rukh Khan) who embarks on a world tour with his Gujarati client Sejal (Anushka Sharma). The film marks the third collaboration between the two lead actors after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
Recently, the makers of the film unveiled the Beech Beech Mein song that created a lot of buzz. You can watch the song here.
