Kaabil, the Sanjay Gupta directorial starring Hrithik Roshan, Yami Gautam and the Roy brothers- Rohit and Ronit, had a decent start at the Box Office on release day. Yesterday, the movie is reported to earn Rs 10.43 crore. It should not be forgotten that a solo release in theatres may have helped the movie rake in more money, but that didn’t happen since it released with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees.
The revenge drama traced the life of Rohan Bhatnagar who sets on a dangerous journey to teach a lesson to those who killed his wife Supriya (played by Yami Gautam). The biggest challenge, the makers had said before release, was to make the role of a blind man seeking revenge look convincing on the silver screen.
And seems that their efforts bore fruits. Kaabil was appreciated by critics for the way it took care of nuances. Hrithik was applauded for his performance and so where the Roy brothers. However, there were few critics who thought the film lacked a strong plot and could have been better in its presence.

But, despite mixed reviews the numbers seems promising for this movie. If it becomes a hit, Hrithik Roshan would obviously breathe a sigh of relief since a lot was at stake for him. The previous releases of Duggu (as Hrithik is popularly called in the film industry) remained a dud at the Box Office.
