Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil is nowhere close to Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees, as far as box office collections are concerned. While Raees has already crossed Rs 100 crore mark within a week of its release, Kaabil is still struggling to make its mark at the box office.
Despite getting all the positive feedback from the audience and the film critics, it seems like the film is not going any further. As far as the overseas collections are concerned, Kaabil has collected Rs 6.64 lakhs from the Australia box office and Rs 4.77 lakhs from the New Zealand box office till date.
The movie has done a business of Rs 12 crore on Monday and approx Rs 9.5 crore on Tuesday, minting a total of Rs 89.14 crore approx so far.
Here’s a detailed break-up of Kaabil box office collection in Week 1:
- Wednesday: 10.43 crore
- Thursday: 18.67 crore
- Friday: 9.77 crore
- Saturday: 13.54 crore
- Sunday: 15.05 crore

Hrithik, who was earlier unaffected with the clash has now come out in support of daddy Roshan after seeing the not so good figures of Kaabil. In an interview with PTI, Hrithik said:
It is obvious if two big films are releasing on the same day, the business will get affected. There is a rule that if we clash then we straight away divide the screen space to 50:50. So, there is no 80:20 or 60:40 and if you follow 50:50 then the clash will stop automatically. That’s the best way.

Directed by Sanjay Gupta and produced by Rakesh Roshan, Kaabil is a very inspiring story that celebrates the unexplored potential of an individual. This is for the first time that Hrithik has played the character of a blind man on-screen and the actor is been applauded for his mind-blowing performance by one and all.
