Kangana Ranaut, who recently unveiled the first poster of her film Manikarnika, will next be seen in Hansal Mehta’s Simran. The makers of the film revealed the first motion poster of Simran on Sunday and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the poster.
And after looking at the poster, it won’t be wrong to say that it has made us even more curious about the film. Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing the role of a 30-year-old Gujarati NRI named Prafull Patel in the film. Co-produced by T-Series honcho Bhushan Kumar and Shailesh Singh, Simran is said to be based on a real life story of a famous Indian criminal who committed various bank robberies in the US.
Apart from the actress, the film also stars National Award-winning actor Sohum Shah, who will be seen romancing Kangana Ranaut in Simran. Also, the teaser and poster fo the film will be released on Monday and we can’t wait any longer to watch the actress in a completely new avatar on-screen.
Kangana, who is also making her writing debut with the film Simran, says one can involve themselves into that. “Simran is such a cosy and intimate story of a character …it’s a lot about her psyche just like Queen…it’s a lot about the linear graph of an individual…you can involve yourself in that. But for something like Manikarnika you need to have screenwriter of Baahubali for that so V. Vijayendra Prasad sir and Prasoon sir are the right people for this film,” Kangana said. “As much as I would love to be in a league like this but I think I need a couple of 10-20 years,” she added.
Simran is slated to hit the screens on September 15 this year.
