She’s fierce, bold, talented, hot and an epitome of self-confidence. Actress Kangana Ranaut never shies away from expressing her point of view on pressing issues, whether personal or social. She is now gearing up for the release of her upcoming, Rangoon which is directed by Vishal Bharadwaj. The film which is set in the era of World War II also features Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan in the lead. She is also working on Hansal Mehta’s Simran, which has her in a role of a Gujarati young woman.
Kangana’s fearless stance often makes it to the news. Even in an ugly controversy surrounding her alleged affair with Hrithik Roshan, she appeared strong enough to shut the haters. She didn’t escape any question regarding her relationship and played on the front foot. Even today, when the matter is more or less over, she makes sure to come out strong with her answers on the controversy. Recently, in an interview with Mid-Day, Kangana took a moment to talk about that phase that made her learn a lot about life. The National Award winning actress expressed that she felt betrayed because the person hurting her was the one whom she loved so dearly. However, one of the statements that made more sense than anything was when she talked about the film industry. She asserted that she was given a lot of support by the film industry during her legal battle. Her statement reads:
The film industry is a lovely place. They really cared for me. Prove what you are claiming and then I may apologise. I won’t stand bullying.
A courageous Kangana yet again made a powerful point here. Her talking about ‘not stand[ing] to bullying’ is something that all of us should just take notice of. We face a lot of rejection, dilemma, negativity and emotional baggage in our lives. And all we need to deal with all of this is to ‘give no shit, take no shit’ attitude. When Kangana says that she will only apologise when there’s a proof to somebody’s claim against her, there’s this ‘queen’s attitude’ that can be sensed in her words. And that’s the same philosophy we all need to adopt in our lives too. There’s no need to stand to any kind of bullying. There’s no need to bow down in front of anybody and fear the world. One doesn’t need to take decisions on the basis of ‘how society would react to it.’ Rather, what we need is to work hard, taste the success, live a life free of regrets and be the king or queen of our world.
Go Kangana! Here’re other quite inspiring statements by our Queen that proves how unstoppable this woman is. Check these out:
