Kareena Kapoor Khan took her three-month-old baby Taimur on a drive on the streets of Mumbai last night. She was accompanied by her sister Karisma Kapoor and a woman who might be the little one’s nanny. However, Taimur was fast asleep, wrapped in a white cloth in the arms of his nanny. It is for the first time that Kareena has made a public appearance with her son.
Taimur, who was born to Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor on December 20 last year, has become an internet sensation of late. As soon as he was named, the cute baby was trolled online for the name as it sounded similar to the 14th-Century Turkish invader Timur, the Lame.
Recently, Kareena revealed the secret behind his son’s good looks.”I can proudly say that he is the most gorgeous child, not because I am his mother but the fact that he is really good-looking. He has the Pathan genes in him. But it must be due to the fact that I ate a lot of ghee during my pregnancy,” she said.
When Taimur found himself in the midst of a controversy for no fault of his, mommy Kareena had rushed out to protect him. In an interview to Mid-Day, she said,”The controversy was indeed bizarre. I have no idea why people took my son’s name so personally. But let me put in this way that his name bears no resemblance to any person: living or dead.
