Lucknow Central featuring Farhan Akhtar, Diana Penty, Ronit Roy, Gippy Grewal, Deepak Dobriyal, Rajesh Sharma, Inaamulhaq and Ravi Kishan has finally hit screens. Set in Lucknow, this Ranjit Tiwari directorial narrates the tale of Kishan (Farhan), who gets wrongly accused as the murderer of an IAS officer. His dreams of becoming a singer get shattered as he is sent to the Lucknow Central jail. This tale of Kishan has struck a chord with viewers, who have been heaping praises on the film.
The viewers of the movie’s first day-first show took to Twitter to review the film. So far, the reviews which Lucknow Central has been fetching are positive. Kishan’s story of making friends in the jail, forming a band and trying to break the prison has got the viewers interested. The movie has been hailed as a complete entertainer, with Farhan’s role of a small town boy being called as one of the best of his career.
Though as it turns out, it’s not Farhan but the script of Lucknow Central which has been hailed the real hero of the film. The prison-break drama managed to keep viewers at the edge of their seats thoroughly. With such positive reviews for the film, it won’t be wrong to say that this Farhan Akhtar-starrer would do decent enough business at the Box Office.
