Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the upcoming film will also see Deepika essaying the titular role of Rani Padmavati, while Shahid Kapoor plays Maharawal Ratan Singh, Rani Padmavati’s husband. This is the first time, Deepika will be seen sharing the screen space with Shahid.
