Parineeti Chopra and Ayushmann Khurrana worked for the first time in today’s release Meri Pyaari Bindu, and we wonder why no one thought of casting them together before. Not only us, this is what the early viewers of the movie think. Directed by Akshaye Roy, the movie released in theatres today and the freshness of the story has managed to strike a chord with the viewers.
The credit for making a love story of the neighbourhood truly brilliant goes to Akshaye Roy. The director truly knows how to use emotions and turn it into magic. Despite being poles apart, Bindu (Parineeti) and Abhimanyu (Ayushmann) were perfect for each other. In each other’s company, they seemed quite comfortable and enjoyed it. Bindu taught the sophisticated Abhimanyu how to break rules and the latter brought calmness in her life. He believed in her dreams when no one else did and she knew he would never leave her.
It is the innocence in the love story of Bindu and Abhimanyu that is the biggest highlight of the movie. Their childhood love was not deterred by time and they remained constant in each other’s lives. But as it happens in every love story, this one too wasn’t sans sadness. Abhimanyu and Bindu’s life like a roller coaster ride and it is this element that will connect with the viewers.
This movie also marks the singing debut of Parineeti. Her song Maana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin, got rave reviews from viewers and everyone heaped praises on the diva.
The chemistry between Abhimanyu and Bindu is so good, said viewers, that you will find it difficult taking eyes off them. This perfect cast of the movie has made us wondering why Parineeti and Ayushmann were not cast together before. They should definitely do more movies together.
