Finally, chapter 3 of Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra’s upcoming film Meri Pyaari Bindu is here and it is even more entertaining than the previous ones. While chapter one introduced Abhi and Bindu as children and how it was love at first sight for Abhi, the second chapter shows them as college teens where Bindu is the miscreant and Abhi being the innocent one, follows her lead.
Titled, Kalkatte Ki Madonna, the video gives a sneak peek of Parineeti’s character Bindu and her passion for singing. the video shows that Bindu wants to be a rockstar and Abhi encourages her to follow her dream. It won’t be wrong to say that the duo has simply nailed it with their chemistry in the film.
The video also has many old retro numbers playing in the background, which adds a little more spice to Bindu’s character and makes it even more interesting.
Parineeti’s singing talent is incredible and we have already seen that in her debut song Mana Ke Hum Yaar Nahin. The song was appreciated by everyone and has also made to the list of this year’s chartbusters. Helmed by Akshay Roy and produced by Yash Raj Films, Meri Pyaari Bindu is a love story and Parineeti is playing the role of an aspiring singer in the film.
While we will get to see Parineeti crooning a couple of songs for the film, her co-star Ayushmann had to unlearn many things to prepare for his character. Ayushmann, who plays the character of an author in the film, says: ”I had to unlearn singing to play Abhi in the film. Since I am playing a writer who does not know how to sing, I actually had to act that up!”
Meri Pyaari Bindu will release on May 12 this year.
