Misogyny 101: Gauri Khan trolled for not dressing her age

Gauri Khan has become the latest celebrity to be trolled for her pictures which brings us to one question- why don't these trolls get a job?

For a celebrity, having a social media account means two things – being personally connected with fans and also being vulnerable to trolls. The latest celebrity to be trolled on social media- Instagram to be precise, is Gauri Khan. Gauri, who was busy being the perfect wife and host at Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday celebration in Alibaug shared a few photos from the bash. The pictures which Gauri posted, needless to say, got filthy comments because trolls did not like what Gauri was wearing (btw, Gauri looked lovely in a white a sheer top with bikini and knitted skirt).

Comments like, ‘Act and dress your age, you ain’t no Priyanka’ and that she should dress appropriately because she is Shah Rukh’s wife flooded the picture.

Doesn’t this kind of character assassination make you cringe?! The sad part is this is not the first time trolls shamelessly targeted celebrities. Recently, when Mira Rajput made her Instagram debut, she was showered with misogyny on the first photo she posted with Shahid and Misha.

We only have one thing to tell the trolls- Gauri Khan can wear whatever she wants and only she should have an opinion on it.
