Sridevi starrer MOM has picked up the pace at the Box Office. The thriller drama has garnered Rs 7.98 crores on the second day of its release. Sridevi’s return on the silver screen after 4 years has been accepted by the audience with open arms. The power packed performance by the actors have earned accolades from all corners in India as well as overseas.
MOM is a thriller drama, which focuses on the issue of increasing crimes against women in the country. The film features Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshaye Khanna, Pakistani actors Sajal Ali and Adnan Siddiqui in pivotal roles. The flick also marked as Sridevi’s 300th film.
On its first day, MOM has managed to do a good business of Rs 2.90 crores. The film has shown a solid growth at the silver screen on its second day. Film critic Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote:
PVR – INOX – Cinepolis – Carnival… These *4 multiplex chains* saw combined growth of 83.54%… Other plexes + single screens data awaited.
