Mubarakan stayed steady at the Box Office as the film raked in approximately Rs 6.08 crore in its second weekend, taking the 10 day total to Rs 41.74 crore. The film showed an exceptional growth in collections in its second weekend as the Friday to Sunday growth is around 200%.
The positive trend in collections of Mubarakan shows that it has found acceptance among the audience, despite the poor opening day number curtailing it’s chances of scoring big at the Box Office. Mubarakan made a steady mark in the second weekend despite facing fierce competition from Jab Harry Met Sejal, which took away 90% of the screens from the film. Mubarakan should fetch benefit of Raksha Bandhan holiday today and is likely record collections above Rs 2 crore on its second Monday.

There is no denying that the collections of Mubarakan are on the lower side, however, the positive trend suggest that a better release date and theatrical trailer would have made a big difference in the Box Office collections of the film. The movie is expected to end its run at the theatres engrossing collections of around Rs 50 crore. The opening day number of Mubarakan had suggested that the film would emerge as a big flop at the Box Office, however the decent reviews and good word of mouth has ensured an average growth for the film.
Gujarat and Mumbai are the best faring circuits for Mubarakan followed by Delhi and Punjab. The film has done decent business in the overseas belt as well. The 10 day total of this Arjun Kapoor – Anil Kapoor film outside India stands at approximately $ 2.60 million (Rs 18 crore).
