‘Much ado about nothing’: Kim Sharma reacts to rumours on her bankruptcy and her husband abandoning her

Kim Sharma's has rubbished all reports that stated her husband Ali Punjani apparently left her for another woman.

Kim Sharma, who made her Bollywood debut with Aditya Chopra’s directorial Mohabbatein, has made it to the news for reasons no one would have imagined. It was reported that her husband Ali Punjani has left her for another woman and she is currently in a bad financial state. But now Kim Sharma has tweeted that there is much ado about nothing.

From her official Twitter handle, Kim Sharma wrote, “I can’t wrap my head around all these different angles and “groundbreaking” details everyone seems to know so much about”. Her next tweet read, “Straight from the horse’s mouth – There is much ado about nothing. Next”.

Reports surfaced earlier that Ali left Kim and she had no money with herself. A source in the know told a tabloid that Ali left Kim with no financial security. He added that Kim is currently trying to establish herself financially in Mumbai. She has reportedly taken her original name Kimi Sharma and is now a brand strategist. Not only did Kim had to leave her home in Kenya, she also had to step down as the CEO of Punjani’s chain of hotels too.

Kim Sharma married Ali in 2010 in Kenya after dating him for only one week. Ali is an established businessman and reports have it that it was Kim who wanted to marry him desperately. Before Ali came into her life, Kim was rumoured to be dating Spanish boyfriend Carlos Martin. It was reported that she was also thinking to marry him but ended up tying the knot with Ali.

But Kim’s tweet on the matter confirms there is no truth behind these reports. Here are her tweets:

Kim Sharma’s affair with cricketer Yuvraj Singh too had gained a lot of attention. Their affair lasted few years and there were reports Kim and Yuvraj would tie the knot. But, apparently Yuvraj’s mother did not approve of Kim Sharma and their relationship went south. Yuvraj took the plunge last year when he married actress Hazel Keech and their reception was attended by many known faces of Bollywood and cricket.
