Mumtaz, one of the most celebrated actresses of Bollywood, is ageing gracefully, to say the least. A picture of hers is doing the rounds of social media and it proves that despite the wrinkles on her face, she has managed to keep the grace intact. The picture seems like a click that a fan of her shared on social media and it has hence kept netizens hooked.

The diva, left the glamour industry and settled in London. She decided to never return to the glitzy town and is rarely seen coming to Indi.

Mumtaz

Born in 1947, Mumtaz made her debut in 1958. As a teenager, Mumtaz acted as an extra in Vallah Kya Baat Hai, Stree and Sehra in the early 1960s. Her first role as an adult was in Gehra Daag but it was in 1969 with the release of Do Raaste, that Mumtaz made a mark. Though she didn’t have much to do opposite Rajesh Khanna, her four songs in the movie made her a star. Post that Mumtaz was seen in many movies.

Her pairing with Rajesh Khanna was loved by both viewers and critics. The number of successful movies in which they worked was 10. At the peak of her career, she quit movies to focus on her career. Her last movie was Aaina that released in 1977. She made a comeback in 1990 with Aandhiyan but has been absent from the silver screen since.
