Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 is in troubled waters once again. Earlier, the film landed itself in legal trouble after a petition was filed at the Bombay High Court saying that it disrespects the judiciary and now it got banned in Pakistan.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, the film which is a sequel to Arshad Warsi’s 2013 courtroom drama Jolly LLB is gaining appreciation by the audience and the film fraternity. In fact, the film is doing exceptionally well at the box office as far as collections are concerned.
And now it is being said that the film is banned by the Examining Committee of Pakistan Censor Board as the film talks about the Kashmir issue.
Earlier Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees was banned in the country saying that it shows Pakistan in the bad light and disrespects the Muslims. And after the ban on Hindi movies was lifted, only Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil made it to the Pak screens so far.

In an interview with DNA, a source revealed that Jolly LLB 2 has some scenes and reference to the sensitive Kashmir issue and the Pakistan censor board intend to ban all Indian films that bring it up. He said:
In the movie, Akshay Kumar plays a lawyer who treats his profession casually until he comes across the case of an innocent man who is killed and declared a Kashmiri militant, while the real Kashmiri militant goes into hiding in Uttar Pradesh. Bringing up the issue has not gone down well with the Pakistani censor board.
