It’s Anushka Sharma’s birthday today. Right from a stellar debut as Taani opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi to a ghost Shashi in home production venture Phillauri, she has come a long way. She is known for her versatile acting on-screen and outspoken nature in her personal life too.
More than her films and an illustrious career spanning a decade, there is a side of Anushka which people are aware of but never acknowledged the 29-year-old actor for it. It’s her love for animals. Not only she visits animal shelter homes, but the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor has spoken on animal-rights related issues. A few days ago, Anushka took time out from her busy schedule and visited an animal care centre in Udaipur. By the way, she owns a dog named DUDE.
While promoting Phillauri, Anushka had shared several funny images of her as ghost Shashi as a promotional strategy. During Holi, she shared a picture which went crazily viral on social media as it carried a strong message.
Two years ago, Anushka shared a thoughtful picture of her with Dude during Diwali.
