After refusing Shuddhi and reportedly backing out of Battle of Saragarhi, Salman Khan has finally come on board with Karan Johar for a film

Karan Johar has been leaving no stone unturned to bring Salman Khan on board for his projects. There were reports that the 51-year-old actor had backed out of the filmmaker’s mega project Battle of Saragarhi which also involves Akshay Kumar. Now, the reports are abuzz that KJo will be the co-producer for the upcoming film that marks the Bollywood debut of Salman’s brother-in-law Ayush Sharma.

Apparently titled Baat Baaki, the film is believed to feature a cameo by Salman in it. As revealed by Subhash K Jha, the film will go on the floors by the end of this year. Initially, there were reports that Katrina Kaif might share the screen space with Ayush, however, sources working close to the much-anticipated project have denied the rumour while stating that Salman was looking for a young actress.

Earlier, there were reports that television actress Mouni Roy, who is set to make her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Gold, will be seen in the film. The gorgeous actress who shot to fame with her lead role in TV serial Naagin, shares a close bond with Salman and shot a special episode for Tubelight.

Earlier, there were reports that Salman Khan had kept Karan Johar waiting for more than a year before declining the role in Battle of Saragarhi. Also, the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil director wanted the star along with Katrina Kaif to share the screen space in his next film. Currently, both the stars are busy shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai, a sequel to the 2012 blockbuster Ek Tha Tiger that releases in December this year.
