Sonakshi Sinha found herself at the centre of a controversy for her angry tweet at music composer Armaan Malik over Canadian pop icon Justin Bieber’s Mumbai concert. There was an intense war of words involving Sonakshi, her brother Luv Sinha, Armaan Malik and Sona Mohapatra. Now, Parineeti Chopra has jumped into the debate.
The actor who made her singing debut in upcoming film Meri Pyaari Bindu believes that actors have the right to sing even though they are not trained to do so. Adding further, Parineeti said she was unable to understand the entire controversy that has erupted.
“When I am acting, nobody has any problem. No professional dance ever complained when I am dancing. No comedian, designer or stunt director has ever complained about me cracking a joke, wearing designer clothes or doing action sequences respectively. Then what’s the controversy over my singing,” the Kill Dill actor told DNA.
“Are we saying that being an actor I am only supposed to act? Who decides what I do and don’t do?” she added further. The actor has joined peers Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor who have also lent their voices in movies they acted in. Her song Maana Ki Hum Yaar Nahi has earned positive reviews with her fans asking her to continue singing. Check out the song right here.
Few days ago, a major controversy erupted when singer Kailash Kher objected to Sonakshi Sinha’s performance with Justin Bieber. This did not go down well with the Dabangg actor who in a tweet slammed composer Armaan Malik. Soon, Sona Mohapatra too joined the debate and accused Sonakshi of insulting musicians.
