After presenting the chapter one of Phillauri last week, the makers have now released chapter two of the film. While the first one was a tell-all story of Shashi and how she became a ghost, the second one is all about the love of her life, played by Diljit Dosanjh.
The entire 2-minute video talks about Diljit’s character in the film and also reveal details about his and Shashi’s love story. The chapter 2 is titled as ‘Shashi Ka Pyaar‘ and has been narrated by Anushka Sharma. The video starts with Shashi saying that voice of the love of her life was magical and had the power to change minds.
Revealing further details about the character, Anushka told that he is not like today’s hot dudes and said: Love comes in Sashi’s life in the form of this guy, who provide her a sense of freedom and respects her a lot. She also revealed that theirs is an old school romance which is meant to last forever.
Adding more details to it, Diljit Dosanjh says his character is that of a Punjabi singer, who sings songs of his choice and is a rebel. The story takes a turn when due to some circumstances, the character changes completely and becomes a family singer.
Directed by Anshai Lal, Phillauri is Anushka Sharma’s second production venture after NH10. The film is an unfinished love story and brings two lifetimes together. This is for the first time that Anushka will be seen playing a ghost on-screen.
In fact, Anushka and Diljit have also paired up for the first time and their chemistry is being loved by one and all. The songs of the film are already a big hit and these videos are raising our curiosity even more. Phillauri is scheduled to release on March 24 this year.
