Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone leave fans swooning over them at various public events. The duo who will be sharing screen space in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmavati, was recently spotted outside and airport and are looking damn cool.
The actors were donning sunglasses as they did not mind being clicked by the shutterbugs. Of late, rumour mills were doing rounds about the strain in their purported relationship. The gossip-mongers became impatient when Ranveer skipped an award function just because his Bajirao Mastani co-star was present. However, it was later found that he was recovering from wisdom tooth surgery and hence could not attend the event. But as far as the latest photograph is concerned, everything is fine between them.
Recently, there were reports that Bhansali has instructed the two actors to refrain from making public appearances together. Maybe, the B-town duo is just adhering to the filmmaker’s instructions.
Ranveer plays Delhi Sultan Alauddin Khilji while Deepika essays the role of Rani Padmini in Padmavati. Shahid Kapoor is playing the role of Rajput king Rawal Ratan Singh in the historical drama which has run into several controversies. In January, Bhansali was manhandled by activists of caste organisation Rajput Karni Sena at Jaigarh Fort in Jaipur. The sets were shifted to Kolhapur in Maharashtra but they were vandalised and set on fire earlier this month.
