Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic Sachin: A Billion Dreams is scheduled to hit the theatres on Friday. The batting maestro has several fans waiting for the film that features himself. Priyanka Chopra is an ardent fan of Sachin and took to social media, urging fans to waste no time in booking the tickets for the film.
In a heartfelt video on Instagram, the Baywatch actor said,”Sachin Tendulkar. The name to me is associated with amazing memories of celebration, jubilation, and happiness. I don’t think in our lifetime we will able to see another individual who brings the entire nation together.”
Sachin: A Billion Dreams has been directed by James Erskine and chronicles Sachin’s personal and professional life in detail. The film is expected to draw a huge crowd at the theatres. Recently, the Odisha government declared the movie tax-free. The legendary cricketer also hosted a special screening of the film for armed forces personnel and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi who extended his wishes to the cricketer.

In his 24-year-long illustrious cricket career, Sachin represented India in 200 Tests and scored 15,921 runs before hanging up his boots in 2013. In 463 ODIs, the 44-year-old batsman scored 18,426 runs and was an integral part of India’s World Cup triumph in 2011.
