Shah Rukh Khan in the role of Raees Alam and Nawazuddin Siddiqui as ACP have set the silver screens on fire, atleast this is what the celebrities of Bollywood have to say. Raeees, a film helmed by Rahul Dholakia, released in theatres today and the audience reaction to it is yet awaited. But the celebrities who watched it, have been in awe of it. Taking to Twitter many known faces of the film fraternity, said how much they enjoyed the film.
Set in 1980’s Gujarat, Raees traces the story of a bootlegger and his fight with the system. The movie became the buzz in the town ever since it was announced, mainly because of the choice of the cast. The trailer and the subsequent promos of the film that were released hinted that Shah Rukh Khan kind of aced the role of a defiant bootlegger. The same observations were made for Nawazuddin’s portrayal.

And seems the trailer and promos weren’t misleading at all. The two actors, who rarely disappoint with their acting skills, are said to have bull’s eye with their spectacular performances. Their powerful dialogues and action sequences are reported to take the film to a new high.
Moving away from the cast and performances, it shouldn’t be forgotten that Box Office expectations from Raees are tremendous.The movie is clashing with Kaabil today and we’ll have to wait to see who emerges the winner in the Box Office battle. It must also be noted that the Hrithik Roshan starrer too is at the receiving end of lauds.
