Actor Rishi Kapoor, who was recently in news for his tweet on Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover, has again made it to the headlines. This time, the actor has landed himself in trouble for chopping off a banyan tree, which is inside in bungalow Krishna Raj at Bandra’s Pali Hill in Mumbai.
The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has not only filed a complaint against the actor and the contractor but has also issued a show cause notice to Rishi Kapoor regarding the same. It is being said that the actor took permission from the BMC to trim branches of the tree so that the construction work in his bungalow can be done smoothly. But when officials from the BMC visited the site, they noticed that the tree has been reduced to its trunk and that the permission was violated.
Following which, Rishi Kapoor has been asked for an explanation, failing which strict action will be taken against him. According to a report in TOI, the actor said that the site work was done under the supervision of the contractor and he might be unaware about the BMC permission. Rishi Kapoor also said that he was not present at the site when this happened and will take legal action to end this harassment. He further added: How come I am responsible for it? I am just being victimized unnecessarily time and again by some vested interests.
Well, no matter how much the actor tries to stay away from the controversies, he ends up landing himself in some or the other trouble. From his Twitter timeline, Rishi Kapoor has become the talking topic of many tabloids. Quite recently, the veteran actor was abused on Twitter by Pakistani women when he spoke in favour of Kulbhushan Jadhav. He later schooled them saying that is not how she is supposed to talk to elders.
