Saif Ali Khan on son Taimur: Neither Chinese nor Mongol, he is ‘Timurid’

Who does he look like - mom Kareena Kapoor or dad Saif?

December 20, 2016, is the day when the tiniest (and the most gorgeous) superstar of Bollywood arrived. Taimur is just 10 months old but people are far more interested in the little man than his super-famous parents. One thing which people can’t stop debating about is, who does Taimur look like. From the colour of his eyes to his insanely adorable smile, the debate is still on if Kareena Kapoor Khan’s adorable baby boy, Taimur Ali Khan looks more like a Kapoor or a Pataudi. Thankfully, we now have an answer, courtesy daddy dearest. In a video shared by Bebo’s fan club, Saif Ali Khan finally reveals who Taimur looks like exactly. Answering the million dollar question, Saif said: “She (Kareena) says he looks like me but I am pretty sure he looks a lot like her. I cannot tell. Some days he looks like me and some days he looks like her.”

Saif further said: “he looks like a Chinese her.” On being asked if he means a ‘Chinese Kareena’, the Rangoon star added, “Not Chinese, let’s say Mongol. (Laughs) But Mongol sounds like he is missing a chromosome. Let’s say Timurid.”

Like seriously ‘Timurid’?

Earlier in an interview, Kareena revealed that she and Saif keep on arguing about Taimur’s looks. Talking about it, she said:

Saif and I keep arguing that he is more like a Pataudi and I am like no, he is like a Kapoor. But of course, his gorgeous sea blue eyes which he has taken from my grandfather and Lolo and that is amazing. I think it’s going to be a beautiful journey,” Kareena Kapoor Khan was quoted by a daily. Every month [with Taimur] is going to be different. I think he is a perfect mix of Saif and me, more so like me, of a Kapoor, I think so. I think he looks exactly like my dad, because I think I look like my dad. He is more like my dad.
