Salman Khan starrer Tubelight's first song to be unveiled on May 16, but not in India

The first song of Salman Khan starrer Tubelight will not be unveiled in India. The film releases on June 23

Salman Khan-starrer Tubelight’s teaser has earned more than 16 million views on YouTube and people just can’t stop talking about it. Set against the backdrop of 1962 Sino-India war, the Kabir Khan directorial is set to hit the theatres around Eid on June 23. Now, the makers of the film are planning to launch the first song in a special way.

The first song of Tubelight, will not be unveiled in India. It will be launched in Dubai on May 16. A grand event will be held and the flick’s other cast members Zhu Zhu and Martin Rey Tangu will also attend. At present, Salman is busy shooting in Dubai for Tiger Zinda Hai  which will release at the end of this year. Hence, the majestic city has been chosen for the launch event. The first song is a melodious one featuring Salman, Sohail Khan and Zhu Zhu, Bollywood Life reported. We are sure that the song will create a lot of buzz once it hits the internet.

Tubelight‘s teaser has shattered several records, becoming the first ever to clock 10 million views in just 2 days. It is believed that Salman plays Laxman in the film. Sohail Khan essays the role of a soldier who goes missing during the war. Zhu Zhu is apparently playing a military officer in the film which also has Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo role. Om Puri, who passed away in January this year, also did a pivotal role in the film.
