With Baahubali 2 just 3 days away from its release, the excitement is only increasing among the audience to watch the film. S.S. Rajamouli’s magnum opus is the second installment of Baahubali: The Beginning and will take the story forward. And with the release fo the film, everybody will also get the answer to the most asked question that ‘Why Kattapa killed Baahubali?’
As the film is inching closer towards its release date, the makers have released a new poster featuring Prabhas as Amarendra Baahubali. Dressed in a blue attire, Prabhas looked every bit of royal and that fierce look on his face only adds more authenticity and power to the character.
The film is not only grand in terms of its budget, but the amazing VFX and cinematography have made this film larger than life. And adding to its grandeur, the film is all set to break many box office records just like its prequel as Baahubali 2 will become the biggest release in the history of Indian cinema after being released in around 8000 screens.
Actor Rana Daggubati, who will be seen playing the role of Bhallaladeva in Baahubali: The Conclusion, believes the success of S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali as a franchise has given Indian filmmakers the faith and confidence to go big.
“I think Baahubali has proved it that when you’re making a film for the entire nation, it is bigger than any film made in one language. You could be a filmmaker sitting in Madurai and if you have a great superhero film to make, you have the faith and confidence to make your film because there’s a country of the audience to watch it,” Rana told IANS.
Not only Rana, but filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma also feels that Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion will make most filmmakers feel like amateurs. Here’s what he tweeted:
I have a strong feeling @ssrajamouli ‘s #Bahubali2 will make rest of all film makers in country feel like amateur TV serial directors
