Ever since the second mini-trial from Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal has been released, a lot has been written and talked about it. Now, finally, Shah Rukh Khan has broken his silence over Pahlaj Nihalani headed CBFC’s disapproval of the term ‘intercourse’ in the trailer. Reacting to the same, the Raees actor said that they should watch the film to decide.
Sharing his views during a media interaction in Mumbai on Monday SRK said: “I think I am below 18, so I cannot vote (laughed). On a serious note, neither I, nor anyone in the film – Imtiaz, Irshad (lyricist Irshad Kamil) sahab, Pritam da or anyone would use any disrespectful word, that hurts a family or anyone’s sentiment. We are yet to send the film to the censors and they should watch the whole film to decide.”
In one of the recently released mini trail of the Imtiaz Ali movie, actress Anushka Sharma has seen handing over an ‘indemnity bond’ to Shah Rukh, saying there won’t be any legal ramifications if the couple ends up having intercourse.

This didn’t go down well with Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chairman Pahlaj Nihalani, who condemned the telecast of the mini-trail which was meant for digital consumption only. After the brouhaha, he demanded that if he gets one lakh votes from the common people in its support, he will clear the usage of “intercourse”.
Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film will mark the comeback of Anushka Sharma and Shah Rukh Khan on the silver screen after the gap of a long time. This is not the first time the duo will be seen working together for a film, they have earlier worked in films like Rab Ne Bani Di Jodi and Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
