Shahid Kapoor had a chat with his fans on Twitter earlier today and gave insights about his life. Leaving the star status behind, Shahid got candid about his life, the things he likes, and other details. It was during this chat that Shahid bared his soul and told that he felt extremely bad when his films didn’t do well at the Box Office.
Due to this revelation, we know that Shahid is definitely not spending great days as of now. His last release Rangoon turned out to be a Box Office debacle. Also featuring Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut, helmed by Vishal Bhardwaj, Rangoon was one of the most anticipated films of 2017.
The buzz it had created failed to translate to Box Office numbers. Rangoon opened to a cold response in theatres, minting less than Rs 20 crore on the first weekend. The numbers are definitely saddening for the makers. Set in the backdrop of World War II, the film’s plot was called sloppy by critics. They said the critically acclaimed filmmaker failed to do justice to the war and love story at the same time. But the ones who reviewed the film appreciated the performances of the stars of the movie.
And maybe it is this appreciation which he got prompted him to connect with his fans. From discussing his favourite dish to giving free hugs to fans, Shahid did almost everything during the chat. Check out few tweets here:
