According to the reports published by a leading daily, while sharing her experience on shooting for Playboy, Sherlyn said “I am happy that I engaged into something that I wanted to do at that time. It was not cheesy or vulgar, I feel all that is in your mind. What matters is how the subject has been shot, how is the background, the hair, the make-up. How does the subject feels about self? Is she uncomfortable shooting or feels free like a butterfly, happy and at peace with her body. I felt at ease with my body. I was 10/10 at that time there was no excess fat at any corner of my body.”
She shed her clothes and posed naked for Playboy. She featured in the November 2012 issue of the raunchy magazine.
