Shilpa Shetty turned a year older today and the diva believes she has aged gracefully. The actress said she would be having an intimate celebration for her 42nd birthday. Shilpa Shetty also said since now her son Viaan is five years old, he gets really excited about birthdays. She revealed the little one would shower her with kisses and make her day.
One of the most popular actresses of Bollywood, Shilpa Shetty makes it to headlines these days owing to her fitness regime and her diet lessons. Speaking about the entire ageing process, Shilpa said no one can deny this and she has always accepted it. “You can’t stop the ageing process, but you can choose how you want to age, with healthy choices,” Shilpa Shetty told a leading daily.
Revealing about the intimate celebration she will have this year, Shilpa said she would be going on a summer holiday soon. “I need to finish pending work. Some close friends will come over at home for a home-cooked lunch to ring in my birthday. In the evening, dinner will be with my hubby (Raj Kundra), wherever he takes me,” Shilpa added.
Talking about her birthday gift, Shilpa Shetty said she wanted some me-time. “This year, I’ve gifted myself a week of me-time. I’ve been very busy working and I’m looking forward to a week of detox at the Viva Mayr (spa clinic in Austria)… and then papa will take over son duty,” the actress said.

Well, she totally deserves this alone time given how busy she keeps. Shilpa may not have been doing movies off late, which is something her fans would want her to do, but she spends a lot of time promoting a healthy lifestyle.
