Ayushmann Khurana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer Shubh Mangal Saavdhan has finally hit the theatres. Helmed by RS Prasanna, the film is off to a decent start at the Box Office. The film has raked in Rs 2.71 crore on its opening day. However, the business of the film is expected to witness an upward trend in the coming days. Being the quirky romantic-comedy it is, the film also deals with a sensitive subject of erectile dysfunction.
The story revolves around the bitter-sweet love story of Mudit and Sugandha. But due to erectile dysfunction, Mudit can’t perform in bed and on the advice of his friends tries out various quacks treating impotency. The film has perfectly managed to stay away from the vulgar zone with its humour and wit, just like Vicky Donor. SMS is a brave and bright film with its heart in the right place.
Shubh Mangal Saavdhan marks the second outing of both, Ayushmann and Bhumi, the lead actors. Earlier, they were seen together in Dum Laga Ke Haisha. The film is the remake of its Tamil version Kalyana Samayal Saadham.
#ShubhMangalSaavdhan Fri ₹ 2.71 cr. India biz… Biz should witness an upward trend on Sat and Sun.
