Finally, Kangana’s big day is here! The actress who failed to leave a mark at the box office with her last release Rangoon, is now back ruling the roost with her latest offering Simran. As of now, Simran which released on Friday, September 15, is getting a lot of positive response from the audience. After portraying unique characters in films like Queen and Fashion, the actress has yet again impressed the viewers with her effortlessly natural and powerful acting.
The movie goers who watched Simran’s first-day first show have tweeted their reviews. While some couldn’t stop praising the actress for her stupendous acting, others couldn’t stop loving Hansal Mehta’s brilliant direction. And a few naughty Tweeps thought it would be fun to tag Hrithik Roshan on their tweets, because why not! A few Twitterati tried to get under the Krrish actor’s skin, saying that Kangana’s performance in Simran was so good that he would be forced to call her up, hinting at the recent controversy surrounding the actors. We don’t know what to say!
Directed by Hansal Mehta, the film features Kangana in the role of a Gujarati girl. She plays Praful, a divorcee, who believes in living life to the fullest. The movie is loosely based on the life of Sandeep Kaur, an NRI in the United States who has been convicted of four bank robberies.
