Kangana Ranaut satrrer Simran has finally hit the theatres after all the credit quarrels and controversies. Witnessing growth at the multiplexes in metro cities, the film has earned Rs 2.77 crores at the Box Office on its opening day. Simran revolves around the life of Praful Patel, a girl from a conservative Gujarati family who lands in a big mess owing to her gambling addiction.
In the film, Kangana has delivered a phenomenal performance and essayed the character of Praful with much ease. Her portrayal of a Gujarati girl is very effortless. It is to be noted that, we had already predicted that the Hansal Mehta directorial will earn approximately Rs 2.75 crore on its opening Day at the BO.
However, Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh had taken to microblogging site Twitter and described Kangana’s performance terrific. He said first-half of the film was engrossing but post interval, a few portions were illogical and a complete downer. He also shared the first-day collection of film.

Earlier, Kangana had created headlines for taking the co-writer credit in Simran. She was slammed by the writer of the film Apurva Asrani after the poster of Mehta’s Simran released, showing Kangana’s name as co-writer. Apurva took to Facebook to raise objections to it and slammed the actress for taking undue credit.
