Earlier, Sonu Nigam expressed his angst over the use of loudspeakers for religious purposes on Twitter. In a series of tweets, he vented his anger over the ‘forced religiousness’ the country and questioned when this ‘ Goondagardi’ will stop.

After this Sonu was relentlessly trolled and even a FIR was filed against him in Mumbai. However, Sonu clarified on the issue, saying, “When I am talking about Loudspeakers, I did mention Temples and Gurudwaras too.”

He posted a series of tweets saying, “Dear everyone. Your stand exposes your own IQ. I stand by my statement that loudspeakers should not be allowed in Mosques & Temples. Period.”

“And dear Everyone, for those who are tainting my Tweets anti-Muslim, tell me 1 place where I have said anything related, & I’ll apologize.”

“When I am talking about Loudspeakers, I did mention Temples and Gurudwaras too. Is it that hard to comprehend? Loosen up guys”.
