Singer Sonu Nigam’s tweets on the use of loudspeakers in holy shrines have sparked a huge controversy. While many came out in his support, other slammed the singer for his insensitive posts. And to our surprise Bollywood is also divided on the whole and most of them were shocked to read such messages of Sonu.
It all started when in a series of tweets the singer complaint of being woken up by the morning azaan and asked, ”When this When will this forced religiousness end in India?”. Soon, the entire controversy took an ugly turn and Sonu Nigam was trolled mercilessly on social media.
So and so, that a FIR has been filed against him and a fatwa has also been issued against the singer, which says, ”If anyone can shave his hair, put a garland of old torn shoes around his neck and tour him around the country, that person will be rewarded Rs 10 lakh.”
But despite all this Sonu stood by his words and said that he was only talking about the loudspeakers and not the azaan. In fact, to prove his point the actor went a step further and shaved his head in front of the media. Well, the controversy didn’t end here, earlier the trollers mistook Sonu Sood for Sonu Nigam and trolled him and now they are comparing Priyanka Chopra with the singer.

An old video of PeeCee is doing rounds on the internet in which she is talking about azaan in a positive way. In the video, Priyanka can be seen saying that when she was shooting in Bhopal for Jai Gangaajal, she used to wait for the azaan, as she finds it very peaceful.
