It’s time to wish Tigmanshu Dhulia as he celebrates his 50th birthday today. He is one of the finest directors and scriptwriter Bollywood has got at present. Born and brought up in Uttar Pradesh’s Allahabad, the multi-talented director has earned accolades from all corners for his acting skills as well. Coming from an academically strong background, he majored in English, Economics and Modern History. But fate had something else for him. After graduating in 1986 he took a master’s degree in Theatre at the National School of Drama in New Delhi. And then, there was no looking back for him.

Proving his mettle in Bollywood, Tigmanshu has given movies like Haasil, Charas, Shagird, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Gangs of Wasseypur, Gangs of Wasseypur – 2, Paan Singh Tomar, Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, Bullet Raja, Bhoole Se Naam Na Lo Pyar Ka and Raagdesh.

Tigmanshu’s talent has not been confined to the silver screens. He has dedicated a major chunk of his career to the small screen as well. However, in the recent times, he showed his talent in front of the camera by doing fullfledged roles. He played Ramadheer Singh in Gangs of Wasseypur series, a grabbed eyeballs with his desi avatar.
