Raksha Bandhan is finally here and like every brother, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan also has something to be excited for. SRK waits for his Didi’s (sister) call on this special day. And his sister is none another than West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Sharing the instance, he said he always waits for her call on Raksha Bandhan day.
Shah Rukh is on a promotional spree for his next release Jab Harry Met Sejal. While addressing the reporters in Kolkata, the actor said, “Every year I wait for an important wish. Didi’s Rakhi wish on Raksha Bandhan day. I am looking forward to that call this year too.”
Referring to his brotherly ties with the West Bengal chief minister, SRK said, “Didi” wishes him every year on Raksha Bandhan day. “I did not have a chance to talk to her since I arrived in Kolkata. I will call her by tomorrow morning,” he added.

The actor was forced to delay his flight to Kolkata after injuring his back. SRK is also the brand ambassador of West Bengal and has been city hopping for the promotions of his latest release.
Jab Harry Met Sejal, the Imtiaz Ali directorial, opened to poor collections at the single screens across the country, although the multiplexes in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Punjab, Bangalore, Mysore have acted as a saviour for the film. The film released on approximately 3300 screens in India.
