Sanjay Dutt is gearing up for his next release Bhoomi. Helmed by Omung Kumar, the film is an emotional revenge drama based on a father and daughter relationship. Not only does Dutt have an intense relationship with his daughter in the reel life, he shares a strong bond with his real life daughter Trishala Dutt as well. Sanjay dedicated the film to his daughter, releasing the trailer on her birthday. Now, Trishala too has thanked him for dedicating his upcoming release to her.
Trishala too is also excited for Bhoomi‘s release, which is Sanjay’s first release after he completed his jail term. She shared the poster of the film on Instagram and captioned it: “Thank you for gifting and dedicating your hard work to me! I’m so proud of you dad @dutt1. For every setback God has a major comeback…I love you, thank you.”

During the trailer launch of the film, Trishala had sent an emotional voice note to her father, which was played at the launch. In her voice note, Trishala said: “Dearest Daddy Duke, it feels so nice to know that you chose my birthday to release the trailer of Bhoomi. It gives me the joy to know you have chosen a film based on the father-daughter relationship as your comeback film. I am really really proud of you dad, you are stronger than you ever know and I am really blessed to be a part of your life. I love you forever. Trishala.”
Bhoomi also features Aditi Rao Hydari as Sanjay’s on-screen daughter and also has Sharad Kelkar in a negative role. The film is set to release on September 22.
