Salman Khan is all set for the release of Tubelight. In this Kabir Khan directorial, Salman Khan plays the role of Laxman Singh Bisht, a person who is quite slow in grabbing things. The makers have released a video, ahead of the theatrical release of the movie, that gives an insight into the character of Salman. We all know by now that Salman Khan essays the role of a person who is slow-minded but little knowledge do we have about how the superstar got into the skin of the character.
Now Laxman is someone whose innocence makes him the laughing stock in the society. His misadventures created troubles not only for himself but people around him as well. But what helped Laxman always was his faith in belief. It was this belief that he ended up doing something extraordinary every time.
Speaking about the character, Salman Khan said he did not have to use glycerine for the emotional scenes. The 51-year-old star said he felt the emotions so strongly that tears just flow. Kabir Khan heaped praises on Salman Khan and said he has pushed his boundary as an actor. The director said he knew most people thought that Bajrangi Bhaijaan was one of Salman’s best performance but with Tubelight he has done a more impeccable job.

A look at the making video and it won’t be wrong to say that Salman has really donned a new avatar this time. For Khan, taking up a high-octane action role is qu0ite easy as he seems tailored for it. But, by letting go off his macho avatar and signing up for such a character, Salman has undoubtedly redefined himself.
In Tubelight, Salman Khan’s Laxman goes on a journey to find his brother, played by Sohail Khan, who goes off to war. The movie is slated for a release on 23 June and is expected to do wonders at the Box Office.
