Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt-starrer Badrinath Ki Dulhania is one of the much-awaited films of this year. The makers of the Shashank Khaitan directorial have released two songs which have created a lot of buzz.
On Friday, the makers unveiled the third song in the film titled Humsafar. It is a romantic number written, composed and sung by Akhil Sachdeva. The video song features Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, who play a small-town couple in the film.
Varun Dhawan plays Badrinath Bansal who falls in love with Alia Bhatt’s character Vaidehi Trivedi in the film. The flick is scheduled to hit the theatres on March 10.
Recently, the makers of the film unveiled the song Tamma Tamma Again, which is the reprised version of the earlier song from the film Thaanedar. The song crooned by Bappi Lahiri and Anuradha Paudwal featured Sanjay Dutt alongside Madhuri Dixit. The modern version also has rap star Badshah lending his voice.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania happens to be Varun and Alia’s first release in this year. Alia, who won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor (Female) for her role of a Bihari migrant worker in Udta Punjab, will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Dragon. She will share the screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor.
On the other hand, Varun will be seen in Judwaa 2, a sequel to the 1997 film featuring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Rambha.
