SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 has shattered all the records and has become number one blockbuster of the Indian cinema. Called as the ‘Jewel’ of Indian cinema, the film has redefined filmmaking in a whole new way. A sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning, the film has already crossed Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide and its Hindi version is all set to cross Rs 400 crore mark soon.

From its sets and costumes to CGI and VFX, everything about the Baahubali franchise is larger than life. Every minute detail has been worked on to make things looks as real as possible. Recently, many behind-the-scenes video and pictures from the Baahubali 2 making went viral on the internet, which clearly shows the team’s hard work and the amazing visual effects are simply magical.

In fact, the VFX of the film can easily be compared with Hollywood films like the Harry Potter series. From bringing Mahishmati to life to giving us the iconic scene where Prabhas fights an elephant, one thing is clear that elephants are an important part of the film. Art director Sabu Cyril shared a video on YouTube, in which he can be seen guiding his team on how to make a life-size mechanical elephant move. The elephant which was made especially for the Baahubali 2 looks just like a real one and the rest of the work was done by the VFX.

With Baahubali 2 touching new milestone with every passing day, it won’t be wrong to say that the film has taken Indian cinema to a whole new level. Apart from Prabhas, the film also stars Rana Daggubati,  Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sathyaraj and Ramya Krishnan in important roles.
