Akshay Kumar-starrer Jolly LLB 2 is already a superhit. The viewers have fallen in love with his portrayal of lawyer Jagdishwar Mishra alias Jolly in the courtroom drama. The dialogues of the film are a hit and music has also been appreciated. It is all set to enter the much talked about Rs 100 crore club.
Recently, Akshay shared a scene from the film which did not make it to the final cut. “Thank you so much for giving so much love to #JollyLLB2. Sharing with you’ll one of my favourite deleted scene, have a Jolly good morning,” the actor tweeted.
We doubt whether it was one of the four scenes which had been deleted by the makers. We tell you why. The 1.19-minute long video opens with Jolly (Akshay) along with his assistant walking into the courtroom. They find Justice Tripathi (Saurabh Shukla) having lunch. What follows is an interesting conversation between Justice Tripathi, Jolly and Mathurji (Annu Kapoor).
However, Saurabh utters the dialogue,” Ye court hain, yahan sab khaate hain (This is a court. Here everyone earns money)”. Well, this is a serious allegation on the judiciary and it might be the scene which was deleted.
You can criticise the judgement of the court if you have valid points to support your argument. But such a dialogue is actually uncalled for as it might amount to contempt of court.
The makers of the film deleted four scenes after a lawyer filed a petition before the Bombay High Court stating that the Subhash Kapoor directorial had given a wrong picture of the lawyers. He had expressed his unhappiness over the scene where Jolly was shown playing cards with a policeman at the court premise, and Justice Tripathi hiding under the table while a scuffle breaks out during hearing.
